Join us and contribute to our legacy of reliability and quality as part of our skilled workforce.Job Summary:The Customer Service Representative at ELSNER will work closely with customers to take part and retrofit orders, quote prices for parts, and handle returns of defective parts. This role requires attention to detail and comfort in a fast-paced team environment, demonstrating the ability to effectively meet customer needs and communicate service issues to management in a timely manner.Key Responsibilities:Respond to customer calls and quote/order requests verbally and via electronic transmission in a timely manner.Enter quotes and sales orders into the computer system.Create customer parts shipments and documentation for domestic and international sales.Generate purchase orders in the computer system and ensure timely arrival of purchased materials.Process return material authorizations to handle customer returns properly.Collaborate with the Contract Machining team in quoting, order processing, and data management.Work with the ELSNER Tech Center team to enter orders and complete data entry for jobs in process using the EPICOR system.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including but not limited to Lean practices.Additional duties may be assigned at the discretion of the Director of Sales.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred.Minimum of two years' experience in a customer service or customer-facing role required.Proficiency in using Outlook and Microsoft Windows software, including Excel and Word.Experience with ERP systems such as Epicor or SAP is preferred.Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, including the ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.Ability to speak a foreign language, particularly Spanish, is preferred.Competencies:Problem-Solving Skills: Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner while managing multiple tasks.Planning/Organizing Skills: Use time efficiently and demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness.Leadership Skills: Take initiative and make informed decisions independently while communicating effectively with all levels of the organization.Benefits: ELSNER offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes:Health Insurance: Medical, dental, and vision coverage.Retirement Plan: 401(k) with company match.Paid Time Off: Vacation, personal time, and holidays.Additional Benefits: Life insurance, disability insurance, employee assistance programs, and flexible schedulesOpportunities for ongoing professional development and training.Work Environment:Office environment with a temperature-controlled atmosphere.Exposure to moderate noise levels and varying workloads.Tobacco-free environment.Job Type:Full TimeIn-personEqual Opportunity Employer: ELSNER is an Equal Opportunity Employer that does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion/creed, sex, disability, marital status, age, pregnancy, national origin, ancestry, sexual preference, gender identity, genetic information, possession of a General Education Development Certificate compared to a high school diploma, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal or state and/or local laws.How to Apply: If you have the experience and passion for customer service and would like to contribute to a growing team, apply today by submitting your resume and a brief cover letter.
