Grill/Saute Cook Job Description Responsibilities Set up Mise en Place according to Chef's guideline Complete station inventories and checklists, prep lists are up to date Support Chef with all menu prep and execution Assist in producing Family Meal Follow Recipes and presentation standards set by chef Continuously restocking the station to be fully set for service and the next day High Standards for a clean, organized workstation Assists with keeping the kitchen scrubbed down, swept and organized throughout the shift. Performs additional tasks as requested by the Chef or Sous Chef Holds High Standards to keep an A-Grade from the DOH DOH Health Cert is a plus English Speakers Preffered Skills and Requirements Minimum 2 years experience at a high volume restaurant setting Maintain a positive and professional attitude with coworkers Passion for food and a commitment to being clean and organized Strong Knife skills Ability to follow recipes without direct supervision to the Chefs Standards Multitasking skills Punctual Clear and Professional communication with colleagues at all times Have the ability to stand while working for long periods of time Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Full time availability Flexible Weekly Schedule $18-$21 per hour depending on experience
