About Us  Highly-acclaimed Marea, from famed hospitality firm Altamarea Group and located on Central Park South, is looking for energetic and passionate Sommeliers to join the team. Sommelier Responsibilities include: - Actively engage in service, including running food, bussing tables, and anything else needed to enhance the guest experience, and lead with a hands-on approach. - Take the lead in growing wine/beverage sales in the restaurant and develop strong guest relationships - Help maintain the wine cellar, the beverage storeroom, and assist in monthly inventories Sommelier Requirements: - 4 years of restaurant industry experience preferred, with 2 years of experience working with beverage - Solid foundation with Italian and French wine and spirits. - Candidates should be highly organized, efficient, and be able to work precisely - Ability to multitask and plan ahead - Ability to teach and encourage the restaurant staff to develop their wine knowledge - Candidates should demonstrate creativity and a commitment to the brand success - Must have a flexible schedule and open availability to meet business needs What We Offer  At Altamarea Group, we are committed to creating a supportive and professionally rewarding work environment for all of our team members.
