Sous Chef

Little Walter's in East Kensington Neighborhood of Philadelphia, an innovative take on tradition Polish fare is looking to expand its hours and its team. We are in search of a candidate for Sous Chef to help lead the kitchen team. Job responsibilities include but are not limited too: - Operating the kitchen in the absence of the chef/owner  - Coordinating kitchen staff, and assisting them as required. - Enforcing best practices for safety and sanitation in the kitchen. - Incorporating feedback from restaurant staff and patrons to make improvements or resolve issues. Requirments include - Qualification from a culinary school - 1+ years of experience in a similar position - In-depth knowledge of food principles and best practices - Excellent communication skills and leadership qualities - Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment.
