Major Food Group, the team that brought you Carbone, is hiring an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at Ha Salon! HaSalon is an Israeli dinner concept that began in Tel Aviv, that promises an elegant a la carte menu centered on seasonal local ingredients. The menu is served alongside a theatrical dinner party where guests dance on tables and are meant to share their experience and their space with those around them. HaSalon translates to "The Living Room" and we are looking for staff who can embody restaurant culture in a family atmosphere. We are looking to create a team of superstars who will contribute to the beauty of bringing guests from all over, to experience an evening as one big family RESPONSIBILITIES: Work under the direction of the General Manager to manage daily operations of upscale dining restaurant Schedule and appoint tasks and responsibilities to staff as directed by the GM Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, including managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining quality standards Develop and implement strategies to improve overall restaurant performance and profitability Ensure policies are upheld Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations Collaborate with chefs to ensure efficient food production and delivery Manage budgets and control costs to maximize revenue Offer and inspire exemplary guest service Other responsibilities to ensure ease of operations REQUIREMENTS: Minimum 2-3 years in a management role in the Restaurant/Hospitality Industry Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field preferred Culinary certificate or comparable experience working in culinary roles preferred Previous experience performing new restaurant opening responsibilities such as training and motivating new employees into a high-performing team and implementing new systems, policies, and procedures strongly preferred Proven team player willing to roll up your sleeves - a good leader should be willing and able to do whatever he or she asks of their team!
