The Concert Production Coordinator [CPC] principal role at The Salt Shed is to assist the Production Manager [PM] and other production positions in all matters of show execution. They should excel in communication skills both verbal and written. Outstanding organizational habits and skills along with the ability to maintain communication and organization in a high intensity and fast paced work environment. Working knowledge of entertainment technologies, terminology, and event logistics. This position will require working both at the indoor venue as well as our outdoor venue. The responsibilities of the CPC will vary from day to day. The following are essential: Ensuring a safe, healthy and friendly work environment is maintained to The Salt Shed and industry standards. Coordinating and executing on-boarding requirements via venue payroll management software [PayCom] for hourly employees. Coordinate and manage advancing all aspects of upcoming shows as assigned by the PM. This includes advancing tour production elements along with appropriate tour personnel. Tour elements to include, but not limited to: labor call requirements and scheduling union staff with union hall, auxiliary production and hospitality staff accordingly, parking logistics, coordinate any required outside/third party rentals as required by the act, data entry for accurate communication of all show elements to show crew, staff and management. Liaise between hospitality in ensuring all band needs are being met to the best of our abilities and within the predetermined contracted budget. This can begin during advance and extend through show day and through final settlement. The CPC's duties will mainly concentrate on day-of-show [DOS] duties, yet they will extend into advance communications as well. DOS responsibilities to include; assisting the PM, Stage Manager [SM] and hospitality in pre-load in prep, gathering all hourly personnelles IN/OUT times, ensuring communication lines between tour and house are seamless and timely. Additional duties to be assigned as deemed necessary by PM. The CPC will be the main communication liaison between house and tour production to House Operations [HO]. Arriving on-time [generally :60M prior to band load-in] and preparing any paperwork, post day schedule and press boards [as they become available] communicate plans with the PM and SM for load-in, build and show execution. Welcoming the touring crew and helping introduce all tour crew with house crew counterparts. Managing and overseeing a load or run crew and documenting hours, issues and noteworthy crew performances for the PM and in the venues End-of-Day [EOD] report. Ensuring a safe and timely strike and load-out occurs seamlessly and returning the stage and backstage areas to "zero". Assisting in additional facility wide events with technical support; be it audio, lighting, video or advancing related as deemed necessary by PM. Skills QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS ; The core skills are communication and organization! These are a MUST. Written and oral communication. Personal organization as well as physical/spatial organization. Experience in live event management and an understanding of the live experience. Strong customer and artist relations. Proficient in Microsoft Office [Word and Excel as primary concern] and the Google Suite of web-based products. Ability to adequately communicate in industry terminology. Maintaining a working knowledge of industry standard equipment and software. Always being one step ahead and anticipating issues before they arise. If the unexpected happens, maintaining a level head and preparing multiple options for the house department heads or touring counterparts. ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS Must have the ability/stamina to work long hours, sometimes in excess of 12 hours/day and a minimum of 35 hours a week. Ability to stand/walk for up to 5-6 hours per day. Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. Will frequently reach, feel, bend, stoop, carry, finely manipulate and key in data. Must be able to work in both warm and cool environments, indoors and outdoors. Must be able to tolerate higher levels of noise from music and customer traffic.
