Location: Beloit, WI Contract Duration: 34weeks (until June 10th, 2025)Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 3:30 PMCompensation: Hourly Rate: $35 Travel Rate: Over $1,500 per week for those traveling outside a 50-mile radius Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated andexperienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in a school settingin Beloit, WI. This role offers a high degree of autonomy and requires a strongbackground in pediatric care. The successful candidate will be responsible forproviding comprehensive nursing services to students, ensuring their health andwell-being during school hours. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct nursing care to students, including administering medications, managing chronic conditions, and responding to medical emergencies. Conduct health assessments and develop individualized healthcare plans for students. Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to support student health needs. Maintain accurate and confidential health records in compliance with state and federal regulations. Educate students, staff, and parents on health-related topics and promote a healthy school environment. Monitor and manage communicable diseases and implement infection control measures. Participate in the development and implementation of school health policies and procedures. Requirements: Current and valid LPN license in the state of Wisconsin. Minimum of 2 years of pediatric nursing experience. Ability to work independently and make autonomous decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. CPR and First Aid certification.
