As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced and passionate General Manager to lead our team and uphold our reputation for excellence. Position Overview: The General Manager will oversee the daily operations of Isabelle's Osteria, ensuring a smooth dining experience while maintaining the restaurant's high standards. This role is integral to both customer satisfaction and team leadership. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fine dining, with a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional service. Key Responsibilities: Leadership and Team Management: Lead, mentor, and inspire front-of-house staff, ensuring exceptional service at all times. Conduct regular staff training to maintain high service standards and product knowledge. Manage scheduling, hiring, and performance evaluations of team members. Guest Experience: Ensure all guests receive unparalleled service and personalized attention. Handle guest complaints and issues in a professional and timely manner. Build and maintain relationships with high-profile guests, ensuring repeat business. Operational Excellence: Oversee daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory control, and cash management. Monitor and uphold health and safety standards across the restaurant. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service and food quality. Financial Management: Manage budgets, control costs, and drive revenue growth. Analyze financial reports and implement strategies for profitability. Collaborate with ownership on financial targets and operational improvements. Qualifications: 5+ years of experience as a General Manager in a fine dining environment, preferably in New York City. Proven track record of successfully leading and developing a team. Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine and wine is highly desirable. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a focus on guest experience and operational efficiency. Solid understanding of financial management, including budgeting, PandL, and cost control. Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
