Upscale French Restaurant Group is seeking a motivated, energetic Senior Line Cook to join our growing team. As Senior Line Cook, you would oversee the culinary operations in the hot line by following our standards and procedures. The Senior Line Cook is essential to the daily operation of the kitchen who works with precision and care to produce a qualit y product while working well in a team setting. Growth opportunities available. Location: Primary Responsibilities:"¯ Prepare all food items on the restaurant's hot line consistently and as directed by chef, also in a sanitary and timely manner . Assist with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations. Prepare food including cleaning and cutting the ingredients and cooking main dishes, desserts,"¯ appetizers "¯and snacks. Plate prepared foods based on chef guidance. Ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time . "¯ Wash and clean the kitchen and cooking utensils and store the equipment at the end of the shift . Ensure that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations . Skills and qualifications:"¯ At least two years of cooking experience . "¯ Excellent kitchen administration knowledge and ability to work as part of a team . "¯ Strong organization and active listening skills . "¯ The ability to work on your feet for most of the day and lift 30 pounds at a time . "¯ Exceptional time management skills .
