Job Title: Bartender Location: Greenpoint, NY Job Type: Full-time Job Details: We are opening a new restaurant in Greenpoint this fall and are seeking professional and experienced Bartenders to join our team. The ideal candidates will have prior experience, enjoy interacting with guests, and possess a passion for the restaurant and hospitality industry. Successful candidates will be responsible for building rapport with our guests while crafting delicious cocktails, ensuring smooth bar operations, and managing inventory. Role Description: Bartenders are responsible for all aspects of the guest experience at the bar, including greetings, menu knowledge, and overall guest satisfaction. They prepare and serve consistently excellent beverages to guests directly at the bar or through serving staff, providing impeccable hospitality tailored to each guest's needs to curate the best experience possible. Required Skills: Minimum of 3+ years of bartending experience in restaurants, cocktail bars, hotels, or equivalent. TIPS Certification required. Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull heavy objects (up to 50 lbs). Capable of kneeling, bending, or stooping; ascending or descending stairs; and standing for extended periods. Availability to work nights, weekends, and some holidays as needed. Team player"”support and assist fellow team members whenever possible. Innovative cocktail creation skills. Bar inventory management experience. Toast POS experience. Wine service experience. Maintain sanitation to DOH standards; keep the work area clean and organized. Compensation: Hourly rate of $11.00 plus tips. Qualifications: Extensive bartending experience. Genuine passion for hospitality. Excellent communication skills and ability to foster a welcoming environment. Strong understanding of sanitation and safety regulations. Ability to prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes. Verify identification for all customers who appear under 30 to ensure they are of legal drinking age. Assist guests in making selections from food and beverage menus, suggest courses and pairings, explain off-menu dishes, and answer all food preparation questions. Communicate with the kitchen to manage timing of courses and guest feedback.
