We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Catering Sales Manager to oversee our catering and events operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a passion for hospitality, ensuring that all cateing and events are executed flawlessly. This role involves planning, coordinating, and managing catering sales for various events while maintaining exceptional guest services. The Catering Manager will work closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver memorable experiences. *Duties* - Plan and coordinate all aspects of catering events, including menu selection, staffing, and logistics. - Communicate effectively with clients to understand their vision and requirements for each event. - Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to secure the best services and pricing. - Manage event budgets and ensure adherence to financial guidelines. - Oversee the setup and breakdown of events, ensuring that all details are executed as planned. - Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative menus that cater to diverse tastes and dietary restrictions. - Provide exceptional guest services during events, addressing any issues or concerns promptly. - Maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals. - Assist in fundraising activities by coordinating catering for charity events and community functions. - Train and supervise catering staff, ensuring high standards of service are met. *Qualifications* - Proven experience in hospitality management or event planning, preferably in a catering environment. - Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Exceptional communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration. - Negotiation skills for working with vendors on contracts and pricing. - Knowledge of hotel operations is a plus, particularly in guest services. - A passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences is essential. - Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
