Weare looking to build a team at this location and are looking for self-motivated, fast learners who can help us rapidly ramp up productionThis is a full-time role, with a competitive hourly rate and benefits. Maintenance Technicians will report to the Maintenance Manager and will be based at our new facility in Brea, CA.This is a full-time role with company benefits based in Brea, CA.The anticipated base compensation range for this role will be $24 to $26/hr. Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and local market rates.What You'll Do:Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment, disassembling and reassembling machinery, overhaul gearboxes, replace bearings, bushings, etc.Perform preventative maintenance on all plant equipment based on a prescribed scheduleTroubleshoot, evaluate, and make recommendations during regular inspectionsAssist facility maintenance as needed, including all aspects of building structure and utilitiesProactively develop and implement preventative maintenance programsComplete and coordinate with department heads all repairs, as necessary, to offset downtime and production delaysTrain others with less technical knowledge based on his/her area of expertiseAssist in leading maintenance projects and initiativesAssist with the organization and inventory of spare partsMaintain a clean and well organized maintenance roomAbout You:High School Diploma or GED and/or 3-years of industrial maintenance experienceMaintenance experience working in a manufacturing operation (e.g. soap, cosmetics, food, commercial bakery, or similar)Basic electrical and mechanical experienceDemonstrated ability to communicate in a proactive and solution focused manner, including keeping management ware of potential issuesDemonstrated ability to work as part of a highly motivated teamDemonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, juggle multiple tasks simultaneously, and operate under significant time pressureDemonstrated ability to learn on the job and quickly solve problemsFamiliarity with FDA regulated industry, highly desiredFast-paced learner, problem-solver and self-starter, comfortable operating in a rapidly changing startup environmentBilingual (English and Spanish) highly desiredExcellent communication skillsInterest in health and wellness, personal care, and/or eCommerce industriesExperience working in the consumer products industry is highly preferredSomeone who gets things done without perfect resources is innovative and works with a sense of urgencySomeone who has high standards takes ownership and is invested in the outcomeSomeone who proactively helps others stays positive and has a good sense of humor#LI-IR1Who We Are:Our core values come naturally and make us a better, more whole, and unique team.
