Join the Galaxy!Position OverviewThis role will be responsible for providing excellent routine service, installation, troubleshooting, and repair of proprietary table gaming systems service to all customers within the assigned regional area, utilizing education and experience in electronics and customer service. The position is a remote role based in Albuquerque, New Mexico.Essential Job FunctionsInstall, maintain, and troubleshoot electronic equipment down to the component levelConsistently build positive rapport with clients and provide excellent customer serviceCommunicate information and state problems or challenges to be resolved in a clear, concise, and professional mannerServe existing accounts by analyzing work orders, investigating field complaints, troubleshooting, and resolving problemsMaintain a high standard of customer satisfaction reflected through customer surveys and feedbackDevelop, track, and report on project progress and schedulesFacilitate the flow of information amongst team members and between various departmentsDocument service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and recordsObtain information on a new product - documentation, instructions, training toolsReport and resolve product issues discovered in the fieldReport product improvement suggestions based on feedback from the fieldUp to 50% travel requiredAvailability to work weekends and holidays and on on-call rotation for 24-hour servicePerform other duties as assignedRequired QualificationsProficiency in troubleshooting electronics and mechanical assemblyExperience using a drill, router, and other various powered construction hand toolsExperience and comfort with configuring basic networking equipmentExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including telephone etiquette and interpersonal skillsProven ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and devise practical solutionsAbility to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule formAbility to solve practical problems and deal with stress effectivelyAbility to exercise good judgment at all timesAbility to promptly respond to common inquiries, complaints, or requests from various internal and external parties in a professional mannerAbility to maintain organization, meet deadlines, and work under minimal supervisionDemonstrate integrity and discretion in handling confidential informationProficiency in programs in Microsoft Office and use of PC computersValid Nevada driver's license and an excellent driving recordAbility to obtain gaming licenses in approved gaming jurisdictionsEducation/ExperienceAt least two years of experience in the assembly, testing, or troubleshooting of electronic devices requiredAssociate degree or equivalent in a technical disciplineGeneral knowledge of casino gaming and table games preferredPrevious experience in the gaming industry preferredPhysical RequirementsConstantly use hands/fingers to operate a computer and other office productivity machineryAbility to safely operate powered construction toolsMust frequently use close, color, peripheral, and depth visionFrequently will need to reach with hands and arms, lift up to 75 pounds, climb/balance, stoop/kneel/crouch/crawlGalaxy Gaming is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, protected veteran status, and basis of disability, or any other federal, state, or local protected class.
