What You'll Do As a Project Manager at mophie, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of individual product and product line projects within the mophie Core and Innovation teams. You will develop and manage comprehensive project plans, ensuring that all tasks, risks, milestones, and activities are tracked and reported to deliver projects on time, within scope, and on budget. Your role will involve collaboration across multiple functional teams and regular engagement with stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals. Other key responsibilities include: * Using target launch dates provided by Product Managers, develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation. * Monitor and manage individual product and product line projects as well as the overall portfolio of assigned programs. * Ensure subject matter experts clearly define product requirements, both technical and user experience elements. * Prepare Request for Quote (RFQ) documentation with project team for quoting with potential suppliers, work with Procurement lead and Product Development team to select contract manufacturer and 3rd party solutions development partners for each project. * Align on and document the definition of completion for each deliverable and ensure accurate time/effort estimates for tasks and milestones. * Identify and manage project risks and issues, coordinating with thought leaders to develop and document mitigation strategies. * Continuously monitor project progress, ensuring risks are mitigated, and any issues are resolved promptly. * Collaborate with and coordinate across multiple functional teams including product management, engineering, design, marketing, and quality assurance. * Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between team members and departments. * Engage with key stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure alignment with project goals. * Prepare and deliver regular project status reports to stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and any necessary changes. * Be well-versed in both waterfall and agile project management methodologies, including sprint planning and execution. * Organize and lead regular project meetings to review progress, address challenges, and adjust plans as needed. What You'll Need to be Successful * Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field; PMP certification is a plus. * 5+ years of experience in program or project management, preferably within consumer electronics or a related industry. * Proven experience managing complex projects across multiple teams and stakeholders. * Strong understanding of both waterfall and agile project management methodologies. * Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills. * Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. * Proficient in project management tools and software.
