Job Summary: The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily production operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety in the manufacturing process of building electro-mechanical med devices. This role involves managing a team of production staff, coordinating workflow, and implementing processes to meet production targets. The Production Supervisor must have a continuous improvement mindset and drive productivity gains & projects to deliver cost savings to the company's bottom line. The Supervisor must also lead cross functional Kaizen events and fully implement 5S best practices that correspond with the overall Visual Factory vision of the production floor. Job Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Provide leadership and direction to the operations production team. 2. Monitor execution to expectations. Remove obstacles and barriers to goals for production teams. 3. Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. 4. Sustain a fair and objective work environment that promotes an interest in high quality work. 5. Hire, develop, and review staff in performance management, quality operations, training initiatives, and business process improvements. 6. Partner with Process Development and Industrial Engineering teams to design and layout new product lines to meet customer and MNTX expectations for product launch. 7. Collaborate cross functionally to promote and sustain improvements across the organization. 8. Facilitate and promote an engaged culture where all employees are in pursuit of exceeding expectations and achieving excellence in everything we do, including the implementation of Continuous Improvement practices and a dedication to quality. 9. Help to establish training material and processes for assemblers. Provide necessary guidance, tools, and training to enable the individual to effectively meet their expectations. 10. Create and identify best practices for the operations team. Manage sustainment of best practices across the operations floor. 11. Maintain and ensure compliance with Production Controls and Quality procedures, cGMP, regulatory requirements, and all established Safety practices and guidelines. Qualifications and Requirements: 1. Prefer a bachelor's degree in business, liberal arts, manufacturing, Engineering, or equivalent experience. 2. A minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in a high technology electronics manufacturing operation, preferably medical device. 3. Ability to guide, mentor, and develop the manufacturing staff. Influential in enabling employees to achieve personal work accomplishments. 4. Knowledge of regulatory requirements & safety practices. 5. Knowledge of world class manufacturing principles such as lean manufacturing techniques (5S, Kaizen). 6. Experience working with all functional areas and management to solve tactical issues, develop strategies, and incorporate sustainable systematic solutions.
