Job Description The field engineer will be responsible for: * Post-sales position in which predominant job responsibilities and requirements occur after receiving project award * Provide pre & post-sales technical expertise during the installation, implementation and maintenance of company products and solutions * Ensure that client's needs have been met and that the product/solution is fully functioning according to specification * Prepare as-built documentation and performance reports of the systems deployed Main Responsibilities: Pre-Sales stage: * Team with pre-sales team to clarify the design and requirements of the solutions * Conduct frequency planning, link budget analysis and traffic analysis for systems * Bring technical expertise to the team to develop project budget and schedule Post Sales stage: * Support project managers to lead all technical aspects of the projects * Perform site surveys and help in preparation of installation proposals * Lead project implementation working with internal and third party contributors * Conduct acceptance tests protocols to ensure that the solution meets project specifications * Prepare performance reports * Prepare project technical documentation * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of company products and solutions * Troubleshoot problems during implementation and support stages This is a hybrid role, working 3 days from our office (Bosques de Alisos 125, Cuajimalpa de Morelos) #LI-DR2 Basic Requirements * Bachelor of engineering (Telecomm, Computer Systems or related field) * 3-5 years of experience in a similar technical environment * Windows & Linux knowledge * Server virtualization knowledge * Networking knowledge * Troubleshooting and problem resolution skills * Availability to travel 50% * English Level B1-B2 or equivalent In addition to the above, the following technical experience and documents is desirable: * Experience Land Mobile radio communication systems * Fixed and mobile video solutions * Cyber-Security knowledge * Project Management knowledge * R56 installation guide knowledge * U.S. B1/B2 valid Visa * Valid passport * Driving license Travel Requirements 50-75% Relocation Provided None Position Type Experienced Referral Payment Plan Yes EEO Statement Motorola Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
