JOB DESCRIPTION We are looking for local and organic food obsessed, hospitality naturals who love people to join our team at our new location in Bedford, NY. This position will serve customers, merchandise products; make coffees, cocoas and teas; and be fully educated on the many products in our new market.  This position requires an energetic, positive, organized, and pro-active nature in a busy and demanding setting.    RESPONSIBILITIES Provide best in class customer experience to market guests by building customer relationships and providing friendly service. Serve coffees, cocoas, teas, and other drinks, often customizing them to customer requests.  May also serve light snacks and meals like baked goods, sandwiches and salads. Check out guests with our Point-of-Sale (POS) system. Assist with receiving inventory and restocking. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the market and cafe, including equipment, utensils, dishes and general work areas. Ensure proper functioning of equipment Train new baristas Contribute to the achievement of revenue goals by creating a positive, delicious experience that combines unparalleled customer service and education.  QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE Two years in the food industry. Barista experience is a plus. A true lover of all things food: sharing it, learning about it, talking about it, and eating it with others. Outstanding interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build strong relationships with colleagues. Charismatic, outgoing self-starter with pride and passion for great customer service.
