Massara is Italian Restaurant dedicated to the food and hospitality of the Emilia Romagna region in Italy. The restaurant was founded by CIA graduate chef Stefano Secchi and entrepreneur David Switzer, of Rezdí´ra. Chef Secchi's father is from Italy and he has worked and cooked in the homeland for 3 years including at Osteria Francescana, All'Enoteca and Hosteria Giusti, based in Modena, Emilia Romagna and Canale, Piemonte respectively. Our ideal candidate is a dynamic and energetic host who is dedicated to the hospitality industry and is looking to build their career in the world of fine dining. A few of the responsibilities include but are not limited to: Greeting guests at the door in a timely and friendly fashion Managing the wait list and assisting in other elements of dinner service Participating in driving service which may include clearing tables, running food and taking cocktail orders Maintain our various spaces and act as a liason between the FOH and BOH Experience with Resy is a plus, as is enthusiasm for Italian wine and culture Requirements: - A minimum of 2 years working in Hospitality or Guest Services - Have flexibility with schedule, having the ability to work weekends, holidays, morning or night shifts - Friendly, outgoing personality and enjoy social interaction - Exhibits enthusiasm for the restaurant, food and hospitality - Must be a patient, courteous listener, able to show empathy and a "can-do" attitude - Have an eye for detail and care for the restaurant's appearance and cleanliness - Work as a cohesive team with all Rezdora's team members to ensure efficiency and effectiveness - Passionate about food and beverage and great service - excited to be part of the team. - Full and Part Time Available Finally, we look to the host to foster a warm and inviting atmosphere, while helping to ensure that our guests are taken care of.
