Demi is an intimate 20-seat, tasting menu only restaurant in the North Loop of downtown Minneapolis. Our entire team, including culinary, hospitality, and dishwashing professionals, is only 20 people. Demi is looking for a new General Manager to oversee all restaurant operations. In addition to the nuts and bolts of opening, closing, payroll, and controlling costs, Demi's General Manager must be committed to providing the highest level of hospitality and guest experience while actively leading service as a member of the front of house team. An emotionally intelligent self-starter with strong problem solving and teamwork skills will be the best fit. Strong food, wine, spirits, and technical service knowledge is required. Demi is a member of Relais and Chí¢teaux, an association of 580 unique hotels and restaurants throughout the world with a dedication to creating joyful guest experiences and offering exceptional levels of service. Demi was the only independent restaurant selected for the association in 2024 and the only member in Minnesota. The expected work schedule is Wednesday through Sunday. Benefits and Compensation: For first year team members, paid time off is earned at a rate of 1 hour per 30 hours worked and available for use as soon as it is accrued.
