As a Floor Manager at Limani, you will work to support our staff to successfully provide guests with a service that is warm, knowledgeable and and noticeably appreciative. We are looking for a candidate that takes a 'hands-on' approach to management and is willing to lead by example and with empathy. As a Floor Manager at Limani, you will work closely with senior management to ensure that restaurant standards and policies are represented clearly to the team and are being followed. In addition to being present on the floor during service, your job duties will include administrative tasks such as composing daily reports, cash handling, inventory duties, ordering and and closing the restaurant. Limani believes in a "˜whole house' mentality and we expect all departments to support and motivate each other to achieve our goal of guest satisfaction. As a Manager, you will interact with all of these departments regularly and should be able to communicate effectively and respectfully with your co-workers. Our ideal candidate possesses a comprehensive background in hospitality. They will be proficient in conflict resolution, offering exemplary customer service, and will have a track record in events and fine dining service management, especially within high-volume settings. Candidates should have thorough expertise in wine service, food and beverage pairing, and a rich knowledge of spirits. Use of office suite software, and POS systems is essential. Candidates should be well-versed in ordering, purchasing, recruiting, and effectively utilizing reservation management platforms. A prowess in team development, training, scheduling acumen and adeptness in vendor management will be considered an advantage. The ideal applicant will be competent in drafting written materials, enforcing service procedures, and ensuring clear communication between our different departments. Strong leadership qualities, team management skills, and superior people skills are a must. The position requires meticulous organizational skills and restaurant management experience. Precision and attention to detail, along with the capability to train others and address problems efficiently, are vital.
