ANNOUNCEMENT OF EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITYParts and Service Specialist - Fleet ServicesRecreation Services DepartmentHiring Range: $25.01 to $31.26Pay Grade: 109Full Pay Range: $25.01 to $37.51FLSA Status: Non-exemptDeadline to Apply: 10/24/2024Benefits Summary:Major Benefits for Full-Time Regular Employees:Paid time off up to 20 days in first year of employment10 paid holidays and 1 floating holiday per yearFree employee only coverage for medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, and life insuranceFree family coverage for select medical and dental plansPension and long-term disability through Arizona State Retirement System, Supplemental benefits such as deferred compensation plans and additional life insurancePosition Summary:Manages and maintains inventory, source parts for City of Prescott Fleet vehicles and document parts usage through the RTA management software.Essential Duties:Research and source a variety of automotive and heavy equipment parts as requested by fleet personnel (i.e. light duty passenger vehicles, first responder vehicles, dump trucks, street sweeper, refuge trucks, etc.)Accurately track maintain and document parts usage through the RTA fleet management systemPerform inventory checks on any stock parts issued, as well as received to accurately track, maintain, and record inventory levels through the fleet management system (RTA)Qualifications:Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or equivalent; The idea candidate would have three (3) years of full time automotive or equipment parts experience in ordering, inventory, dispensing, or closely related work; or any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the essential functions of the position.Licensing, Certification, and Other Requirements:Possess and maintain a valid Arizona driver's license with appropriate endorsements.
