The restaurant offers multi-course tasting menus and í la carte options, with a focus on subtle, delicate, vegetable-forward flavors, showcasing traditional techniques and seasonal ingredients. Position Overview: NARO is seeking an experienced and dedicated Sever to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Front-of-House managers and the entire NARO team to ensure the seamless operation of our restaurant, fostering a positive work environment and maintaining the high standards that define our dining experience. This position reports to the NARO Front-of-House Managers and includes a rate of $16 an hour plus tips. Servers responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Opening and closing the dining room and establishing a good environment so the team is well-prepared to execute a successful service - ensuring all opening and closing side work checklists are completed. Have conversations regarding food, beverage, concept, and inspiration of varying depths with our guests, guiding them through our menu, in a polished and poised manner. Work together with the kitchen team to conduct seamless and refined service for our guests. Working in tandem with Server Assistants and Food Runners to curate a memorable dining experience for all our guests. Assist with any service needs while on the floor (e.g. assisting with dining room maintenance during service, running beverages from bar, clearing and remiseing tables, etc.). Expected to be constantly growing, learning, and expanding their knowledge base. Qualified Server must be energetic, enthusiastic, and have a great attitude. At least 1 year of serving experience (preferably in a fine dining setting) Broad and flexible availability to work daytime and evenings Possess exceptional floor presence Must be able to demonstrate an extensive depth of knowledge of food and beverage Knowledge and/or experience with Korean food and beverage is a plus but not required Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 10- 20lbs if necessary Safely and effectively use all necessary tools and equipment Stand and walk for an entire shift, including moving safely through all areas of the restaurant.
