We here at EN Japanese Brasserie are looking for an experienced Host for the Holiday season. Must possess great communication skills with a polished floor presence. Engage with guests and colleagues in a professional; and dignified manner in a busy, high volume environment. Demonstrate a passion for detail and a willingness to learn. Uphold service standards to ensure a memorable guest experience. Greet all guests entering the restaurant and thank all guest's leaving the restaurant with a warm and friendly smile and demeanor. Provide a high level of organization and hospitably to all guests at all times, without exception. Maintain integrity of service by communicating to managers to address any potential experiences. Ensure reservations are prioritized and seated in a timely manner. Clearly and politely communicate with guest when delays and/or waits occur. Understand and operate the reservation seating system. Recognize key people in the industry, VIP guests and celebrity contacts. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the host stand and front door area. Adhere to grooming and dress code standards. Proficiency in RESY. Open Table or similar reservation systems. Japanese culture and experience a major plus. Must be available to work nights, Sundays and Holidays if needed.
