Job Title: Farmers Market Sales Associate (Part-Time, Saturdays) Location: The TaSH (Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow) Farmers Market Patriot's Park, Tarrytown, NY 10591 Compensation: $20 per hour + tips Potential for performance-based bonuses About the Role We are seeking an outgoing, energetic, and passionate individual to join our team as a part-time Farmers Market Sales Associate . In this role, you will be the face of our brand at the farmers market, sharing our delicious Korean bone broth with customers and educating them about the cultural and sustainable values behind our product. You will help shoppers understand the health benefits of bone broth, offer samples, and ultimately sell our shelf-stable jars of broth. Qualifications: Outgoing and energetic personality with excellent communication skills. Passion for food, sustainability, and supporting local agriculture. Ability to educate and inform customers about our product and mission. Sales or customer service experience is a plus, but not required. Must be comfortable standing for extended periods and working outdoors. Access to a vehicle is highly preferred for transporting products and equipment. Must be available to work  Saturdays from 7am-3pm (market hours are 8:30am-1:30pm; additional time needed for load-in, setup, and breakdown). Must have NY Food Protection Certificate. Key Responsibilities: Greet and engage customers at the farmers market. Heat and serve samples of our Korean bone broth. Educate shoppers about the nutritional benefits of bone broth and our commitment to sustainability. Share our mission of reclaiming cultural wisdom around food, maximizing the use of every animal harvest, and supporting local farmers and processors. Assist customers with purchases and manage sales transactions. Ensure a clean, organized, and inviting booth environment. Provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere.
