This job contributes to Starbucks success by performing critical inventory control functions to support plant and distribution center operations. As an inventory control specialist, you will... * Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality. * Order Picker PIT operation. * Performs daily inventory counts and reconciliations in reserve stock locations. Follows approved guidelines and processes for cycle count completion. * Investigates and corrects discrepancies within the Warehouse Management System; track errors, identifies discrepancies, and performs root cause analysis for continual improvement initiatives. Supports customer satisfaction with orders and in-full order fulfillment by ensuring inventory accuracy. Provides feedback on errors found to fellow partners and escalates issues as appropriate. * Primary support of day-to-day shipping and receiving operations. Troubleshoots inbound and outbound discrepancies, performs new item setup and slotting, identifies, and corrects lot rotation exceptions, and resolves wave planning issues. * Supports brand quality by maintaining correct inventory availability status on items identified as quality issues or shelf-life issues. * May enter orders into computer system, review invoices for accuracy and approval, and provide telephone support for customers. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity.
