Head Chef - Italian New Opening Established restaurant group is looking for a Head Chef to join their team in a new opening that will surely be a popular neighborhood concept! The Chef is responsible for leading and coaching a skilled culinary team in executing consistently high quality traditional regional Italian dishes for the restaurant as well as oversee the smaller cafe concept next door. Great opportunity for a Chef to get in with a stable and successful group! Executive Chef Responsibilities: Creating incredible food of the highest caliber Proactively managing costs and budgets Ensuring that all food meets the highest standards of quality and consistency Maintaining proper ordering and inventory Staff Management (scheduling, hiring, training) Leading and mentoring a strong team Ensuring best practices for safety and sanitation in the kitchen Executive Chef Preferred Requirements: 4+ years experience as an Executive Chef, Chef de Cuisine and/or Head Chef Passion for quality ingredients Excellent knowledge of Italian cuisine, preferably Southern Italian (having staged or worked in the country a huge plus!) Excellent communication skills and leadership qualities Exceptional standards for cleanliness, health, and safety Expert knowledge and fully fluent in PandL, inventory management systems, and cost controls Flexible schedule, including weekends, and on holidays Compensation Package Includes: Compensation in the $90-$105k range Medical Option PTO Plan
