For we are looking forward for you as Location Humboldt, TN Shipping Clerk Your tasks: Summary/ Objective: Shipping and Receiving Clerks take delivery of incoming shipments of products and verify the correct delivery of the material with the purchase order. This position will organize and package material for delivery, and keep records regarding these transactions. Essential Functions: * Material receipt against the Purchase Order * Verify Material counts and specification. * Prepare and package finished products for delivery tickets. * Coordinate BOL deliveries with forwarders * Post weights and shipment changes / charges * Maintain files of shipping records * Trace missing or lost shipments * Assemble wood and cardboard containers or pick preassembled containers * Authenticate receipt of shipments alongside bills of lading, invoices or other records * Claim damaged materials with forwarders * Route products to internal / external departments * Package Material to achieve appropriate arrival at final location * Attach identifying information and delivery instructions on containers * Organize records of goods shipped * Prepare appropriate customs paperwork for national and international shipments * Support Sales and Purchasing with the selection of an appropriate forwarder * Other task as assigned by Supervisor * Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. This role will routinely be exposed to loud noises such as air-powered tools/presses, oil/dirt, and forklift traffic. Additionally, this position will require some use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Physical Demands: This position is frequently required to stand, walk, and use hands and arms to handle, feel and/or reach. Some lifting of parts may be required when necessary; ability to lift a minimum of 35-50 lbs. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Travel: Some required for this position (I.e., Offsite WHSE / parcel carriers) Your profile: Education/Experience: * High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) * Ability or some exposure to assembly with hardware and wiring tools (i.e. wire cutters/soldering, point-to-point, nuts/bolts, wire crimpers, ratchet wrench, hammer, etc.).
