Midtown Center Restaurant Seeking Sommelier to Join Our Team! Longshot Hospitality is hiring Sommelier and Wine Manager for Dauphine's , located in Midtown Center Washington, DC. Join a team of passionate, talented restaurant professionals invested in providing an outstanding dining experience built around authentic New Orleans inspired food, high service standards, and warm hospitality. Dauphine's is looking for someone who can: Manage a well-established and robust wine program featuring domestic, French, Spanish and Italian wines Provide hospitable and knowledgeable service to guests during peak business hours Conduct tastings and training sessions with servers and bartenders, work with new hires on wine knowledge and service standards Foster relationships with reps and adjust wine selection with the General Manager Completing weekly orders and monthly inventory Work in conjunction with all FOH managers to facilitate smooth operations Dauphine's is a modern-day incarnation of the legendary Grande Dame establishments of New Orleans created by the award winning team that created The Salt Line. Led by Executive Chef Douglas Alexander and Chef Partner Kyle Bailey, the spacious three level restaurant features both a raw bar and a Boucherie. Mezzanine dining provides a dramatic view of the dining room below, while outdoor diners can enjoy both formal dining or casual cocktail and small bite service. For the beverage program, Dauphine's joins forces with proprietor Neal Bodenheimer of Cure Co ., New Orleans' acclaimed cocktail-focused hospitality group whose eponymous flagship, Cure, was the 2018 winner of the James Beard Award for Outstanding Cocktail Program . We are seeking passionate, experienced, and confident team players with a true understanding of how to provide world class service and hospitality.
