Duty Days Per Year: 261 Hours Per Day: 8.0 Salary: $19.00 per hour up to $23.23 per hour pending School Board Approval of the Office Professional Work Agreement. Supervisor of Position: Student Data Coordinator/Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Summary of Duties:Under the direction of the Student Data Coordinator, the Office Professional- Student Information and Enrollment Support Specialist is responsible for maintaining student records such as enrollments, drops, and transfer information, assisting the Student Data Coordinator with the District's student information system and reporting of student information to the Minnesota Department of Education for educational funding, providing customer service/receptionist related functions; monitoring security of visitors to the District Office; and for performing various clerical support functions. Essential duties outlined below are intended as "representative" examples of the level, nature and decision making expected of positions assigned to this classification. Updates and maintains all enrollment and related processing activities. Enrolls and drops students upon request; provides assistance to students and families during the enrollment process either in person or over the phone. Obtains student records from prior schools to ensure students are placed in proper classes. Adds student information into student information system to aid building staff in formulating new student schedules. Notifies and provides enrollment information to school buildings and the Transportation Department. Drops students upon receiving requests for student records from new school to avoid overlap reporting between schools. 2. Assists the Student Data Coordinator with the maintenance and database of the student information system (SIS) utilized for MARSS and Ed-Fi reporting to the MN Department of Education.Analyzes reports for MDE to correct state edit reports. Collaborates and works with building personnel and staff in determining corrections and to resolve discrepancies. Determines proper state codes as determined by MDE for accurate and effective state reporting of student information 3. Produces local and state reports for district administrators, finance or others, as needed.Assists administrators and special service groups in implementing procedures. Generates state reports to MDE. 4. Performs general receptionist functions for the building.Greets the public entering the building. Identifies needs of parents, students and staff and assists in addressing those needs and directing them to appropriate staff/persons. Answers District Office phones and directs callers to appropriate persons and/or provides general information, as appropriate. Monitors and follows security procedures within the building as individuals come and go. 5. Serves as the District Home School Liaison. Works with families to ensure proper Home School filing paperwork is completed. Reports Home School enrollments to MDE. Maintenance of Home School documents and enrollments. Processes Home School reimbursement paperwork. 6. Student Information Systems Support Serves as a back-up to the Student Data Coordinator as a system administration for Infinite Campus by providing access to student data through the use of the Infinite Campus, while adhering to the district's procedures and policies relating to student data privacy and security. Serves as a system administrator for Infinite Campus Online Registration, including developing and monitoring the online enrollment system, as well as troubleshooting system issues and supporting end-users. 7.
