Production Supervisor POSITION SUMMARY The production supervisor will effectively lead associates to ensure satisfaction of customer expectations; safety and production requirements while executing the Tarkett Strategy and embracing Tarkett' s vision, mission, and objectives. The Production supervisor will proactively lead, support, train, coach and direct his or her assigned work team to execute operational plans. The production supervisor must drive continuous improvement through World Class Manufacturing (WCM) while sustaining effective associate relationships. The production supervisor will properly maintain records, reports, and data collection in a timely and complete manner. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES * Safety: Ensure associates are working in a safe environment. Conduct daily safety walks and address unsafe acts and conditions in a timely manner. * Customer Service: Ensure that orders are confirmed properly to achieve organizational goal. * Quality: Control plan audit. * Responsible for consistent product quality, meeting customer expectations, and for continuous improvement activities. * Meets or exceeds relevant OSHA and EPA regulations for the manufacturing plant. * Actively monitor, evaluate, and report performance daily on using the Shop Floor Management Tools in WCM. * Take full ownership of shift and performance reporting management * Drive daily schedule attainment and effectively allocate resources * Evaluate and coordinate training needs and initiatives of team to drive continuous improvement. * Work closely with Engineering and Maintenance to help improve and document production processes and equipment operation. * Provide coaching and guidance as required, as well as executing consistent documentation within the corrective action process. * Improves record procedures to ensure organizational effectiveness. Organizing & Planning * Executes projects from start to finish * Detail oriented REQUIREMENTS (including educational requirements) * Ability to effectively present information, respond to questions, and interact with associates, managers, and peers. * 2 - 5 years of experience in a production supervisor role * Experience operating within quality framework * Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Visual Shop-Floor Management * Experience with handling and prioritizing multiple tasks at the same time * Computer proficiency, specifically with Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, PowerPoint * Ability to work a flexible schedule when required * Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or other related field; will consider Associates degree combined with experience * Technical Leadership or military experience / education * HRIS / Time keeping system experience is a plus What We Offer * A commitment that Safety is #1 * Competitive benefits, pay, and retirement plan options! * Career growth, stability, and flexible work arrangements.
