Job Details Job Location: Chapel Ridge Townhomes - Lees Summit, MO Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $19.00 - $21.00 Hourly Description Apartment Management Professionals, LLC (AMP Residential) is seeking to hire a Maintenance Technician to join our team at Chapel Ridge Townhomes! This apartment community has 171 units, and is located in Lee's Summit, MO. The Lead Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the property in a safe, attractive and comfortable condition. This individual will maintain relationships with other service staff, residents and vendors. Some key responsibilities will include providing the highest level of customer service, make regular inspections of grounds and buildings as part of a preventative maintenance plan, complete service requests and assist with the apartment make-ready process. The Lead Maintenance Technician reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor. Responsibilities will include but not limited to: * Prepare vacant apartment homes. * Complete property work orders while providing efficient, friendly service. * Follow preventive maintenance guidelines. * Maintain the physical asset. * Use different skillsets: such as, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, etc. * Teamwork to achieve property goals. * Accept on-call responsibilities (rotated schedule). * Follow safety procedures. Qualifications * 1-2 years of multi-family maintenance preferred but not required * Valid Driver's License with valid auto insurance * EPA Certification preferred, or must be willing to obtain with 90 days of employment * Excellent customer service skills * Team oriented with a positive attitude * Ability to problem solve and be well organizes * Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening * Must be available after hours and weekends for on-call responsibilities (rotated schedule) Physical Demands: * Physical demands described here must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential duties of this job.
