Mile end is beyond excited to have opened our newly expanded dining room at our Hoyt Street location. We are looking for experienced servers to join our team as we continue our 14th year serving the Brooklyn community and bring a newly renovated and expanded 40+ seat diningroom to life. We are looking for one expereinced server with availability to work 4-5 shifts, with room for growth if desired.  Barista experience is useful as is a working knowledge of jewish deli and Montreal/Canadian cultures, fare, and customs. Weekend availability, especally daytime, is required. Must be a team player, we're a small close-knit staff who work hard together and also like to have fun! All servers will be on a base wage + tips and will be guaranteed a minimum average of $20 per hour for each weekly pay period (right now the average is closer to $30-$35, more on the busier shifts). Ideal candidates possess:  *Minimum 2 years of experience in a high-volume environment.  *Positive attitude and strong work ethic with the mentality of a team player.  *A warm and gracious outlook, the ability to create stellar guest experiences.  *Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  *A can-do attitude, not afraid to get their hands dirty. *TIPs Certification and NYDOH Food Handlers a plus.   Please be sure to apply with a cover letter that is specific to this opportunity.
