Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking an Maintenance Technician A with PLC experience for our manufacturing facility to maintain, fix, and improve equipment used in bottling and packaging operations.Reporting Location: Ontario, CAPay Range: $38 - $43.05 / hour (based on experience)6%-8% of base hourly rate shift differential paid for applicable hours workedSchedule9:00 PM - 5:30 AM, Night Shift, Full-Time12 hour shifts on rotating scheduleBenefits401(k) matching; dental insurance; flexible spending account; health insurance; life insurance; paid time off; vision insurance; short-term and long-term disability insurance; career stability and growth. Day 1 benefits enrollment eligibility!Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Plan, lead and execute preventative maintenance (PM) according to PM schedule to miBTBize equipment downtimeComplete reactive maintenance on production lines to recover from equipment failures by repairing mechanical, electrical, and structural componentsCreate retrofits and fabrication, complete machine tear down/repair and assembly and work on PLCs, VFDs, and electric motors Conduct creative problem solving to identify and perform equipment improvementsCoach operators and peers on basic maintenance and equipment settingsParticipate in special project work on equipment upgrades or installationsWork with team members and operators to ensure the daily production schedule is metMaintain partnerships with team members and vendors using effective communicationProvide break relief to production operators or team members as neededOperate a forklift as needed to complete dutiesQualificationsKey qualifications include:High school diploma or GED; additional technical training or certifications desired3 or more years of previous maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing environmentDemonstrated sense of urgency in completing tasks and comfort working in a high-speed production environmentStrong mechanical and electrical skills; PLC experience desiredSolid computer skills, including the use of Word, Excel, OutlookExperience with CMMS or ERP systems needed, SAP experience preferredAbility to work independently or with a team and communicate effectivelySolid problem solving and decision-making skills with the ability to coach othersAble to lift 100 lbs. and pull 120 lbs. as needed while performing workAble to work with an awkward posture for 2 hours or moreWillingness to work holidays and weekends as we are a 24/7 facility operating through most weekends and holidaysAbility to successfully complete an online skills assessment prior to onsite interviewSuccessful completion of a post offer physical, drug screen and background check are requiredBlueTriton Brands, Inc.
