Position Type: Student Support Services Date Posted: 5/21/2024 Location: District Closing Date: Until Filled Additional Information: Show/Hide Date: May 21, 2024 From: Office of the Superintendent Subject: Vacancy Position: LDT-C - District Pennsauken Public Schools is an urban/suburban Pre-K to 12th grade school district of approximately 5,000 students located in Camden County, New Jersey Responsibilities: * Act as a Child Study Team case manager, when assigned by the Director, assuming all of the responsibilities of the manager as outlined in the department procedure manual. * Assist in the development of an evaluation plan, as per the assignment of referral, participating in the evaluation as outlined in accordance with NJAC 6:28-3.4 * Write an educational assessment detailing an evaluation and analysis of the pupil's academic performance and learning characteristics. * Provide consultative service to the special education teaching staff regarding the development of the learning style profile as it pertains to the Instructional Guide plan. * Serves as a consultant to all administrators and professional staff on issues of learning disabilities as it pertains to student performance. * Performs other duties within the scope of employment as assigned by the Director of Special Services or his/her designee. Qualifications: * Master's degree preferred * Endorsement #3300 LDT/C New Jersey State Certification REQUIRED * MUST pass NJ Criminal History Review Unit fingerprinting requirement * New Jersey State residency requirements for public employees in effect Terms: Salary, terms and conditions of employment per PEA contract Applications are accepted on-line only.
