Mount Alverna Village is looking for a Clinical Marketing LiasisonFull-TimeParma,OH Position Summary:Through appropriate assessment, determines the potential market for community services. Contributes to marketing action plan (MAP), develops and implements an on-going cross selling venue for the community on a semi-annual basis, a marketing strategic plan and executes goals based upon it. Organizes and/or participates in activities with current and potential referral sources. Participates in/conducts educational programs to describe and promote community services. Works to expand business in current locations, acquires new referral sources for existing services and identifies market opportunities and new revenue streams. Specific Duties and Responsibilities: Marketing• Responsible for marketing Franciscan Communities to external constituents to expand market share by generating new business and maintaining established relationships.• Explores and creates new business opportunities and potential partnerships through referral source development.• Increases referrals through networking and cross-selling Franciscan Communities' services with area hospitals, physicians and facilities.• Provides information to referral sources that encourages them to consider the services provided by Franciscan Communities which meet the identified patient needs while cross selling all our services at each community.• Develops and implements means of monitoring the impact of agency services on clients and the perception of the agency by other healthcare facilities and the community at large.• Implements a strategic Marketing Plan to achieve census goals with a focus on targeted payor types.Community Outreach• Educates public on the many services offered by Franciscan Communities.• Develops/implements appropriate community outreach as outlined in marketing plans.• Keeps informed regarding changes and new services provided within local health care system. Determines potential for enhancing current services. Identify feasible value-added features that will enhance our services. Makes recommendations regarding service enhancement and new program development.Clinical Assessments/Responsibilities• Communicates accurate bed availability, services, products, etc. and discusses placement with hospital discharge planners and key decision makers.• Responds, tracks, monitors and follows through on all telephone inquiries from families, caregivers and discharge planners.• Keeps abreast of current Medicare/Medicaid regulations governing admissions/discharge requirements of health care facilities.• Understands intake potential of each community and coordinates with respective decision maker.Communication• Maintains on-going collaboration with Director of Nursing, Director of Marketing, Executive Director and Admission Coordinator to advise on outcomes of monitoring and changes in the market as well as reporting of marketing and sales initiatives. • Keeps informed on business conduct procedures, programs and practices within the organization and conducts themselves accordingly.• Develops and maintains consistent reporting on activity to inter-department personnel.• Other responsibilities as assigned.Qualifications/Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Marketing, public relations or health administration/business. In lieu of Bachelor's degree, 5-7 years of LTC Nursing Provides proof of current driver's license in the state of employment with current vehicle insurance coverageMinimum 3-5 years experience required within the healthcare, senior housing industry. Familiar with community resources and the process of identifying access qualifications, admission criteria and completing the appropriate procedures to initiate service/care. Effective oral and written communication skills.
