LADUREE Soho is currently looking for Host / Hostesses - Full Time and Part Time for for AM and PM shifts, some weekend availability is required Extend a hospitable, friendly, and timely greeting to all guests upon their arrival. Manage all incoming telephone calls with professional language and a positive, uplifting tone. Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the entrance area and host stand. Utilize the OpenTable reservations system proficiently, ensuring accurate seating within reservation times, quoting appropriate wait names when necessary, and avoiding over or under-booking the restaurant. Guide guests to their assigned tables with courteous conversation, providing a warm and welcoming start to their dining experience. Responsibilities: Engage with guests and colleagues in a professional, hospitable, and friendly manner at all times. Arrive promptly for scheduled shifts, prepared to fulfill duties. Adhere to the prescribed uniform standards, including attire, grooming, and accessories. Process reservations accurately and courteously. Offer alternative reservation times or options when the desired time is unavailable, ensuring guest satisfaction. Provide accurate wait time estimations and communicate them effectively. Maintain cleanliness and safety in floor, entry, and aisle areas, promptly addressing any debris. Assist with table bussing during busy periods or immediate table needs. Yield to guests and offer assistance with navigating the restaurant layout. Express genuine gratitude to departing guests and extend a warm welcome to arriving guests. Possess comprehensive knowledge of restaurant details to address guest inquiries or concerns effectively. Answer all incoming phone calls promptly and attend to guest needs, including appropriate call handling and communication of important information to duty managers. Hosts should possess familiarity with restaurant hours, menu offerings, pricing, directions, contact details, and other essential information. Qualifications: Maintain a fun, energetic, and professional demeanor throughout work hours. Proficiency in written and spoken English is essential. Previous restaurant experience is required.
