Job Type Full-timeDescriptionReports To: Operations SupervisorAssignment Focus:Drive delivery, box, tanker, or tractor-trailer combination to transport and deliver lubricating oil, liquefied petroleum, or mixed surfactants to customers. Performs any activity or assignment asked for by their supervisor. This is a safety-sensitive position.Primary Responsibilities:Be proactive in the use, maintenance, and urging of others to use PPE.Exhibit superior customer service skillsExhibit organization, cleanliness, and professionalismDrive truck to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle in difficult situations, such as narrow passageways.Inspect truck for defects before and after trips and submits reports indicating truck condition.Maintain all personal logs (ICC, CSA, etc.) in accordance with DOT regulations.Assist in the loading/unloading of trucks, such as:Driving a truck into position to load/unloadLoading/Unloading trucks with a forkliftVerifying the loaded amount per bill of lading/shipping manifestConnecting heavy hoses, opens valves or starts pumps to fill or empty tankPurges oils based on approved QC standards and takes samples of oils for customer and facility retainsReads gauges or meters and records off-loaded quantitiesDrives truck to customers premises to load/unloadFollow all specialized customer safety guidelinesSafe operation of crane pumps and lift gateAssist in warehouse functions when not drivingDelivering finished goods- Drums, Totes, PailsDaily inventory truck accessories and cleans as requiredUnderstand HAZMAT and emergency spill containment and response.RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredForklift experienceCDL-A, HAZMAT, and Tanker certificationsVerbal and written skills necessary to read and follow instructions and to give instructions or directions to drivers and customers.Punctual and diligent in adhering to work schedules and must be able to meet the overtime requirements during seasonal workWillingness to learn coupled with a "can-do" attitudePass Driver proficiency assessmentAbility to lift 50 pounds from the floor to waist levelAbility to push/pull 100 pounds with or without assistanceEntering/Exiting/Driving vehicle multiple times during the dayAbility to regularly walk briskly across large expanses, 100 - 200 yards at a time, to view/visit customer sitesAbility to walk up and down one to two flights of stairs when visiting customer sitesAbility to drive several miles per day to call on customersAbility to climb ladders several times per day to check tanksAt least 2-year verifiable commercial driving experience preferredMust have a clean Motor Vehicle RecordStable work historyThis is a safety-sensitive position
