This position is based at our Headquarters in Fairfield, Ohio. Once in-office training is complete, hybrid work options may be available, empowering associates to work from home several days a week. Associate customer service representatives play a key role in our company's long-term success by providing exceptional service, problem resolution, and operations and administrative support to our policyholders and field representatives.Starting pay: The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00 hourly. Pay is based on the applicant's education, experience, location, knowledge, skills and abilities. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance. Be ready to: provide outstanding customer service handle 50-60 incoming calls daily with ease process changes on existing insurance policies, including policy changes, conversions, reinstatements and exchanges process trades, withdrawals, loans, electronic fund transfers and registration changes on existing contracts communicate effectively with team members, internal customers and management to coordinate case work and resolve processing issues participate and contribute to team meetings or special tasks and assignments Be equipped with: effective critical thinking and problem-solving skills strong verbal and written communication skills commitment to driving an industry-leading customer service experience comfort navigating across multiple technology platforms the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced team environment willingness to pursue continuing education, such as accredited insurance classes and exams (ex. LOMA) and MAPS certification Bring education and experience from: a high school education one to two years of experience in a customer service focused role Enhance your talentsProviding outstanding service and developing strong relationships with our independent agents are hallmarks of our company.
