Michele's is located in The Eaton Our cuisine is inspired by Baker's family roots in France and influenced by local ingredients and sensibilities. Michele's is named after Chef Matt Baker's mother, who was born in New Orleans to French immigrants. A minimum experience of one to two years of service in a fine-dining or Chef-driven restaurant is ideal. Menu knowledge and memorization are key for the restaurant manager role as well as focus, charm, and a high sense of urgency. Job Details Floor Manager Chef Matt Baker is currently seeking a polished and professional Manager to join the team. We are seeking an individual who is passionate about hospitality to lead our front of house team in service, create a vigorous learning environment and guide professional development while overseeing service and ensuring guest satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Connecting with guests and ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable dining experience. Inspiring and leading FOH team members in hospitality and service standards. Managing all floor stations, including but not limited to; dining room set-up, leading line-up prior to the shift, and service of the dining room, bar and patio. Providing support to all FOH positions; improving standards and efficiency. Holding all FOH staff accountable to all company rules and regulations. Assisting FOH employees with service challenges and guiding the guest while upholding and inspiring adherence to service standards. Ensuring smooth liaising between FOH and kitchen during service. Supervising menu changes and POS updates with assistant managers. Participating in and supporting the preparation and success of all streams of revenue, including events, takeout, and holidays Ensuring facility cleanliness and DOH standards are met at bar, coffee stations, and all bathrooms. Assisting and overseeing the hosts and in accordance with reservation and guest policies Supervising new employees through the onboarding and training process. Maintaining and participating in the culture of the restaurant with a focus on family and hospitality.
