Affiliated with  STARR Restaurants ,  Pastis DC   has found its home in Washington, DC's vibrant Union Market District!   With a nod to its New York City roots, this brasserie features a classic curved zinc bar outfitted with signature subway tiles, vintage mirrors with handwritten daily specials, and a mosaic-tiled floor.  Now open with dinner service, guests can find the classic bistro fare Pastis is known for with brunch and lunch services set to follow soon.  The team is seeking Maitre'd candidates who are passionate about service and hospitality leadership. The ideal candidate has experience running the door of a high volume restaurant, and is well-versed in managing reservation system(s). Candidates should have strong communication skills, an affinity for making guests feel welcome, and possess both confidence and composure in working within a dynamic environment.
