Mandu, Washington DC's original Korean restaurant, is looking for a Sous Chef to work with the mother and son duo of Yesoon and Danny Lee, and the current culinary team. We are looking for a chef that is excited to learn the history of Korean cuisine and culture, and express that knowledge through our menu, with dishes ranging from classic ferments to slow braises to current popular street foods. The chef will work in tandem with our wonderful Front of House team and executive chef. In addition to regular operations, the sous chef will also assist Danny with frequent guest chef collaborations that take place at Mandu or around the country, with the opportunity to learn from and cook with amazing chefs from around the country.
