YELLOW Union Market seeking PM Sous Chef to join the team, who is excited about bringing a sincere sense of hospitality to a great space on Morse ST NE in the heart of Union Market. We are excited to bring a brand new dinner concept to our new space! Chef/owner Michael Rafidi takes inspiration from his family's Palestinian roots, bringing to the table an experience that melds the ancient tradition of the region's coal-fired cuisine with local, seasonal, Mid-Atlantic ingredients and a refined culinary acumen. The Union Market location of YELLOW, expands on the lunch offerings with pastries which meld Levantine ingredients with classic French technique, pita sandwiches, kebabs and inventive coffee offerings by day. The ideal Sous Chef candidate has at least 3 years of cooking experience, including 1 year in a sous chef position or similar.
