Position Details Position Information Banner Position Number R10644 Position Title Project Director Classification Title MURC-Managers, All Other Department Center of Excellence for Recovery - RC1524 Job Description Job Summary The Training Center Project Director will be responsible for overseeing the WV Behavioral Health Workforce and Health Equity Training Center (Training Center). This role involves ensuring that program goals, objectives, and activities are met according to the specified timeline, managing the budget, coordinating trainings, and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders. The Program Director will also assist in grant compliance, marketing, and collaboration with other training initiatives. Key Job Duties and Responsibilities: Program Oversight: o Oversee and manage the Training Center, ensuring that program goals and objectives and all activities are achieved within the designated timeline. o Monitor and manage the budget, including procurement of subject matter experts and completion of agreements. o Maintain regular communication with the Pl, Co-Pl, WV Department of Human Services, Bureau for Behavioral Health, the Advisory Board, and other key stakeholders. Training and Technical Assistance: o Oversee all Training Center trainings and partner with statewide groups to enhance behavioral health training efforts. o Provide training and technical assistance (TA) in line with the Training Center's grant requirements. o Review and evaluate subject matter experts, evidence-based trainings and other activities for alignment with program goals. o Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop training materials and curriculum. Grant Management: o Assist with Statewide Training Advisory Committee meetings, including maintaining a current list of members and inclusion of new members. o Review and assist with grant paperwork and ensure timely submission of all reports and documentation required by the grant award. o Assist Co-Pl with data collection and reporting outcomes by maintaining comprehensive records related to the trainings. Marketing and Public Awareness: o Develop and implement marketing and awareness activities to increase knowledge about the Training Center. Collect and share local, state, and national resources and participate in public awareness campaigns. Manage the Training Center website and listserv, ensuring up-to-date information and effective marketing of trainings. Collaboration and Additional Duties: Collaborate with other training initiatives under the Center of Excellence for Recovery, including the WV Peer Hub and WEAVE WV. Perform additional duties as assigned to support the goals and activities of the Training Center Must have reliable internet access. Location OTHR - Other Off-Campus Location Salary Range $58,656-$60,000- Salary is commensurate with experience and internal equity Required Qualifications Education Master's degree in social work, counseling or psychology. Experience Experience in program management, including budget oversight and grant compliance. Strong knowledgeof behavioral health and health equity training programs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders. Experience in developing training materials and marketing strategies. Proficiency in managing websites and listservs and technology. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
