Job Description SummaryPerform the daily operations of plants to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line for our 2nd Shift. Executes standard operational/technical tasks typically subject to instructions and work routines.Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities:Oversight and management of front-line manufacturing employees for 2nd shiftResolves issues in situations that require good technical knowledge and judgment within established proceduresConsults more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/ parametersDevelops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GEExplains technical information to othersRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/ GED with at least 4 years of experience in Manufacturing/ Production Supervision, Technical, and/or Shop Operations)Desired Characteristics:Humble: respectful, receptive, agile, eager to learnTransparent: shares critical information, speaks with candor, contributes constructivelyFocused: quick learner, strategically prioritizes work, committed Leadership ability: strong communicator, decision-maker, collaborativeProblem solver: analytical-minded, challenges existing processes, critical thinkerThis role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
