Position Summary: The Division Sales Manager- Exteriors is responsible for awareness and demand generation, education and training, generating positive first-time user experience, and ultimately creating downstream demand for AZEK's Exterior Trim and Molding products among architects, target builders, target multi-family/commercial developers, remodelers, and contractors/installers. The Division Sales Manager will lead and oversee the sales operations for our exteriors division, with a particular focus on siding. This role involves developing and executing sales strategies, managing a team of sales professionals, and driving growth in market share and revenue. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the building products industry, specifically siding, and have a proven track record in sales leadership. Your primary duties and responsibilities will be: * Lead downstream conversion activities at builders, contractors, installers, specifiers, alternative channels and dealers * Partner with 1-step and 2-step Distributors to properly place siding and trim in the marketplace * Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Exteriors Market Development Managers ensuring alignment with the company's goals and objectives. * Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers in owning and growing 1-step and 2-step partnerships along with regional growth plans * Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve and exceed divisional sales targets and objectives. * Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities to expand market presence and increase market share. * Foster a collaborative and results-oriented sales culture within the team. * Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to adjust sales strategies as needed. * Develop and maintain relationships with local dealer sales and customer representatives * Maintain a thorough understanding of the company's siding products, including features, benefits, and competitive positioning. * Oversee sales operations, including forecasting, budgeting, and resource allocation to optimize sales performance. We believe the successful candidate will have: * 7-10 years of experience in sales, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role within the building products industry working with builders, contractors, lumber yards, etc. * Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent work experience. * Proven experience in siding sales and a strong understanding of the building materials market. * Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. * Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities. * Ability to travel as needed within the designated division. * Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools. * Knowledge of the regional market and key players in the building products industry. * Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. * Valid Driver's License * Demonstrable influencing and well-developed presentation skills. * Seasoned sales experience; Basic, Consultative, Negotiation. * Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
