SUMMARYThis key position manages customer orders from the initial contact all the way through to order delivery, ensuring complete customer satisfaction. Develop and maintain existing and new customer account relationships. Process orders in ERP system, updating reports and information as required. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Interact with customers either by telephone, electronically or face to face Obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle product and service inquiries Set up new customer accountsProcess orders, forms, applications, and requestsManage customers' accounts: Scorecard management and reconciliation. Communicate to managementPrepare and distribute customer activity reportsWorks closely with planning and production to provide order status to customerInform customer of order shipments to meet expedited delivery requests and tracking details for ordersNotifies planning, engineering, quality, and shipping team of any customer changes from the original order Enters, schedules, and makes available to ship orders for their respective customers accurately and timely Collaborates with internal teams to find solutions related to inventory availability and lead time violations that risk meeting a customer's requested timelineNotifies customer of any issues that may prevent the customer from being fully satisfied; works to resolve these issues in a timely mannerResolves customer complaints promptly, escalating issues as needed to department managerMay participate in the development of procedures and work instructions Assists new employees as needed, fostering a team environment with a focus on maintaining a positive relationship with our customers Other projects as assignedPerform other related duties as assignedMust be a team player as measured by his/her peersQUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:REQUIREDHigh School Diploma or equivalentThree years of progressive experience in administrative or customer service roleProficient in Microsoft Office 365Excellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailMust be able to multi-task effectivelyAbility to work well in a team environment RequirementsRequired:High School Diploma or equivalentThree years of progressive experience in administrative or customer service roleProficient in Microsoft Office 365Excellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailMust be able to multi-task effectivelyAbility to work well in a team environment Desired: Experience using Epicor software or equivalent ERP systemData analysis Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
