WHAT WE NEED:Reliability SpecialistThe Reliability Specialist will support reliability improvement and maintenance projects for a range of clients on various turbomachinery. The ideal candidate will have a technical background in turbomachinery and be able to provide guidance to clients.Responsibilities: Support rotating equipment reliability improvement and maintenance projects.Support technical assessments and inspections of turbomachinery to identify potential issues and areas for improvement.Support the development and implementation of maintenance and reliability strategies to improve equipment performance and reduce downtime.Develop turnaround and outage work scopes for critical rotating equipment.Provide front-end outage planning support.Support development and implementation of training programs for clients to improve their turbomachinery equipment knowledge and skills.Collaborate with other team members to ensure projects are completed within budget and on schedule.Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.Support technical resources in the field.Support development of job books prior to equipment outages.WHO WE NEED:Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field preferred.Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in turbomachinery equipment maintenance and reliability.Technical knowledge of rotating equipment, including turbines, compressors, pumps, motors, and generators.In-Plant / End-user experience preferred.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively with clients and team members.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.Professional certifications such as Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) or Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) are a plus.OEM background is a plus.Equipment vibration and machinery lubrication certification are a plus.WHO WE ARE:Founded in 1987, Sigma is a professional multi-discipline engineering and design company that serves the petrochemical, fertilizer, and refining industries.
