We are looking for an Electrical/Instrumentation (E&I) Technician and general Maintenance Technician to join our team!About LignoTech Florida:In addition to an amazing riverfront location in sunny Fernandina Beach, Florida, LignoTech Florida offers a comprehensive and competitive benefits package including:* 4-10's schedule*• Full medical, dental, vision insurance coverage with low employee premiums• 100% company-paid Life, Short-Term and Long-Term disability coverage for all employees• PTO accrual upon hire• Tuition Reimbursement program (after one-year of employment)• Annual bonus programAs an E&I Technician at LignoTech Florida, you will be responsible for (among other things):Maintaining proper safety awareness and follow plant safety procedures in all plant activitiesInstalling, testing, calibrating, troubleshooting, overhauling and repairing a wide variety of instrumentation and electrical devices and equipmentPerforming preventive and predictive maintenance inspections using diagnostic tools and test equipment and make necessary corrections to keep equipment from failingMust have the ability to read and understand manuals, blueprint schematic and testing specifications. Must have good computer skills and thorough knowledge of PID's, Loop drawings, electrical schematics and PLC'sTroubleshoot and loop check PLC's, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using proper test equipment to repair or replace faulty components, such as sensors, relays, switches, motors, modules or fixturesAssemble and disassemble all types of electronic process controls, pneumatic controls and hydraulic systems and componentsLayout, fabricate, and install instrument, electrical and PLC components and cabinetsInspect and maintain switchgear, PLC's, transformers, buss bars, circuit breakers, and wiring connections in power distribution sub-stationsTest continuity of circuits to ensure electrical compatibility and safety of components using voltmeters, ohmmeters, meggers, etc.Perform other duties as assigned or required by supervisionRequirementsMust have:High school diploma or GEDTwo year E&I vocational certificationFour or more years of experience working in an industrial maintenance environmentMust be able to support a 24/7 plant operations, which could include nights, weekends and holidaysMust pass and maintain all medical and fit-testing requirements for respiratory equipmentMust possess and be able to use a complete set of mechanical tools, including basic knowledge of precision maintenance toolsAbility to work independently in the absence of supervisionAbility to understand and follow oral and written instructionsBasic Mechanical TroubleshootingBasic Electrical TroubleshootingBasic Controls TroubleshootingOther job requirements:Must be able to work four 10-hour workdays per week (6a-4:30p), with rotation to four days of afternoon shift (12p-10:30p) once every six weeksWeekend On-Call rotation every six weeks (paid daily "On Call" and OT rate apply)Candidates will be required to pass a background check, drug screen and physical assessment
