Sportsfield Specialties is seeking an experienced Shipping Worker, for its Delhi, NY location, who can work independently and/or with others as a production team member with good analytical skills. Responsibilities/Duties: * Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with the required procedures, rules, and regulations. * Fill customer orders with accuracy and in a timely manner. * Stage daily orders by shipping category/location. * Operate forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport, and store products. * Pack and ship items securely and effectively to minimize damage. * Ensure that inventory and shipments are secure and well-organized. * Ability to trouble shoot and think outside the box when shipping issues occur. * Must be reliable and flexible with schedule during summer months. * Perform other related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: Skills: * High attention to detail. * Ability to multi-task in a busy environment, manage your time and be self-motivated. * Ability to complete tasks in a safe and efficient manner in a deadline-driven environment. * Ability to communicate effectively with assigned team member(s) and customers. * Ability to use and operate power tools and warehouse equipment safely. Experience/Education: * High school diploma or equivalent required. * Shipping experience preferred but not required. Salary starting range is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. DOE.
