I. JOB DESCRIPTIONDepartment: Base Supply StoresLocation: VariousReports to: Manager and/or Assistant ManagerII. STATEMENT OF PURPOSETo provide customer service with customer recognition to everyone.III. RESPONSIBILITY FOR WORK OF OTHERSNoneIV. BUSINESS COMMUNICATIONRequires excellent communication skills.V. SUPERVISION REQUIREDDailyVI. EDUCATION REQUIREDHigh school graduate with one year relevant work experience.VII. TRAINING AND SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE REQUIREDBasic retail knowledge. Accuracy with computerized checkout systems.VIII. EXPERIENCE REQUIREDMust have interpersonal skills dealing with and communicating with customers, vendors, co-workers and management. Team player.IX. TRAVEL REQUIREDNoneX. SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for all customer service functions with customer recognition and interface the most critical element.Accurate computerized checkoutRequesting and identifying material from the warehouse and shelf stocking.Store cleanliness both in and outside.Other duties as requested by Manager and/or Assistant Manager.XI. PHYSICAL DEMANDSWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is in a moderate office environment. The employee is regularly required to sit; stand; walk and use hands.XII. WORK ENVIRONMENTThe noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
